The upcoming Bedford Falls Village tour itinerary

It might be helpful to see the order in which I hope to put up a new post representing each building in the Enesco It’s a Wonderful Life Illuminated village series. As stated, I’m somewhat going through them as they appear in the film, but it won’t be exact. For example I’m withholding 320 Sycamore for the very last. After the village buildings are posted , I hope to do the same thing for all the accessories of the series. Culminating with posts concerning the entire village set up and as a whole. Somewhat around the time period that they broadcast the movie. I think they will again because NBC got pretty goodratings for it last year. That comes as a surprise to me, but a very welcome one. Depending on how things go, hopefully I can also post updates on my attempt to build my own bridge for the village as I’m dissatisfied with all those currently released. Potentially also, posts on the Target village. Here is the order I’m currently working toward:

Gower’s Drugstore
Bailey Brothers Building and Loan
Boston Co. Suitcase Store
Bedford Falls Florist Shop
Ma Bailey’s House
Bedford Falls High School
BF Travel Agency
BF Train Station
Mary’s (Hatch) House
BF Church
Mr Potter Mansion
Mr and Mrs. Martini’s New Home
Savings and Trust Bank
BF City Hall
Martini’s Bar
BF Enesco Bridge
BF Library
Bijou Theatre
BF Emporium
BF Post Office
BF Garage
BF Diner
320 Sycamore

Home owner: I mean Pottersville! Don't you think I know where I live? What's the matter with you?
[He proceeds toward his house. George is completely bewildered
George Bailey: Oh, I don't know. Either I'm off my nut, or he is...
[to Clarence]  ... or you are!
Clarence: It isn't me!

  1. I have found your blog very informative. I bought the first three series, without really knowing what I was doing..felt frivolous and regretably didn't buy any more of the series. Put it all in the attic. Thought I would sell it this year, 11/2012, after all this time, but when I got it down I had more than I remembered buying and decided to give a go at a set up. Also have the train, so, we made a marvelous train tunnel, and a mainstreet that is beautiful as well as other pieces. Wanted it to look real, not just porcelain sitting in buffalo snow. Painted a backdrop with a road going out of town that looks real!! The price of the rest of the buildings gives me little if any hope of ever owning any more than perhaps some more vehicles and people. But that is okay. I just appreciate all the work you have put into this site, and felt it certainly deserved a comment!! Bless you!

  2. I just posted concerning my appreciation for your site. Must say, the Gazebo, which I don't have, you said doesn't appear. But it does, in one of your own pictures. Check out the one of Bert and Ernie about to go after 'a crazed George Bailey'. Part of it is very identifiable behind the two of them!! So, it would be in proximity to wherever they were when going after him. My name is Judith Rydman, but am posting as anonymous

    2. Thanks Judith :) Appreciate the comments, and I will have to go study again on those pictures concerning the Gazebo! I've had some job issues and have been away far too long, so hopefully soon I will get back into the swing of things. My plan this year was to have an actual watefall and stone version of Mount Bedford and Bedford Falls in my village, as well as fulling turning an O Gauge model train bridge into a more proper looking Bedford Falls bridge. Hopefully I can manage those. Thanks again for looking.

    3. I have looked again and again, and I think I am wrong....I think what I thought was a gazebo may actually be the side of a house. : ) Judith

  3. Does anyone know anything about the Sentinel News Boy figurine? Mine is plastic. All of my other characters are ceramic. Is my news boy fake?
